2024 Leadership Team
As we get ready to usher in 2024 and beyond, Silo Point Country Club is delighted to introduce and extend a warm welcome to our newest team members who will be joining us next season! With their impressive expertise and unwavering dedication to excellence, we proudly introduce Chris Caulfield as our new General Manager, Jerry Chylkowski, PGA, as our PGA Head Golf Professional, and Timothy Fleck as our Assistant Golf Professional.
Chris Caulfield, our new General Manager, boasts over 25 years of invaluable experience from the Sport & Entertainment industry, with prominent roles at MSG and Mohegan Sun. As a Connecticut native, Chris's deep-rooted connections to the community, combined with his unwavering commitment to excellence, make him an ideal leader to steer Silo Point into an exciting new chapter. We eagerly anticipate the positive impact Chris will bring to our club and the enhanced experiences he will provide to our valued members. His leadership and vision will undoubtedly shape the future of Silo Point.
Jerry Chylkowski, PGA, our esteemed Head Golf Professional, is a true expert in the field. Holding advanced PGA certifications in Teaching and Coaching, as well as Executive Management for golf and country clubs, Jerry's impressive background includes being the most sought-after golf instructor at the Connecticut Golf Club in Easton. His teaching approach, rooted in biomechanics and outlined in his book "Forbidden Golf from Communist Poland to PGA Pro, Finding Your Best Game," has consistently led to dramatic improvements in his students' golf games. Jerry's extensive experience in the golf industry, coupled with his passion for teaching and member relations, makes him an invaluable addition to our team. We are excited to have Jerry lead our golf operations, and we look forward to the impact he will make on our members' golfing experiences. Jerry's journey from Torun, Poland, to becoming a US citizen and his interests in ballroom dancing, DJing, travel, skiing, and family life add a unique and dynamic dimension to our club's leadership team.
Timothy Fleck, our Assistant Golf Professional, joins us with a strong background in golf operations and customer service. With notable experience at River Ridge Golf Club, Timothy has shown exemplary leadership and operational skills within the golf industry. His responsibilities included overseeing various aspects of golf operations, such as staff management, league and tournament organization, pro shop inventory management, golf instruction, and maintaining the River Ridge USGA Handicap System (GHIN). Timothy's dedication to the sport of golf and his commitment to providing exceptional service make him a valuable asset to our team. We are thrilled to have Timothy contribute to our golf program and enhance the member experience at Silo Point Country Club.
Our new team members will be starting in their new roles after the first of the year and are extremely excited to meet the Members when the Club reopens for the 2024 golf season!

Course Schedule
The golf course and driving range will close for the season on Sunday, December 10th. After this date we ask that there is no play on the golf course.
All Active Members are encouraged to take advantage of their Reciprocal Benefits throughout the off-season... during which our public courses may be open for play as weather allows! Please remember to CALL The Golf Club at Oxford Greens/Tunxis Country Club and speak directly with the Golf Shop to reserve your tee time under a reciprocal rate.

Thursday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Friday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am - 3:00pm

Reminder To Use Your Golf Shop Credit
Friendly reminder: all golf shop credit will expire when we close shop at the end of the year. Please visit and buy something your heart desires before it expires!
Lockers & Club/Cart Storage
If you currently have a locker but do not need a locker for 2024, please remove your belongings and return your key by Sunday, December 10th to avoid being billed for 2024.
If you would like your Golf Bag or Push Cart for the winter months, please remove during shop hours until Friday, December 22nd.
Employee Holiday Fund
We have begun taking contributions for the Annual Employee Holiday Fund. Anyone who would like to donate to the Staff Fund can donate in the Golf Shop no later than Sunday, December 17. We kindly ask that all contributions are made by cash or check made out to "Silo Point Country Club". Alliance will be matching 100% of all donations to the employee fund and these funds will be distributed to the employees on their December 22nd paychecks.
Reminder To Update Your Member Profile
Please be reminded, we have asked all current members to submit a completed Membership Application. Please download below or visit the golf shop for a copy at your earliest convenience. This is to ensure we have updated membership profiles for everyone, particularly the longtime members that were adopted through the transition back in 2020. You should also review the Membership Policies in the 2024 Membership Brochure which aim to answer many of the FAQ we have received from members over the last few years.
