From Tee To Green
We would first like to thank you all for your patience and understanding during our soft opening this past weekend. It was great to see most of you back out and playing after a long winter. Just as you have gotten the chance to get back in the swing of things, the turf has as well.
The greens on 7/14/17 have been improving with the warmer temperatures and spraying/covering. With the increasingly warm temperatures expected soon, it is in our best interest to cover these greens and set out temporary greens in the approaches on these holes. We are looking to trap in the warmth to keep the great momentum we have going with growth. In doing this, we will be shortening the period of time for full recovery of the greens.
The aforementioned greens will be covered during weekday play from Tuesday-Thursday and will uncover them for Friday-Sunday play. This will allow us to continue nursing back those weak areas with the best growing conditions possible (warm, moist, and minimal foot traffic). We will continue to take the most beneficial and necessary steps to deliver the best quality playing conditions.

Silo Point Women's League - Join Us!
Women of Silo Point CC are invited to join our women’s golf league for the April to October golf season! A handicap index limit of 32 required to join.
Every Thursday morning a fun tournament is scheduled for individual or team play, May thru September. Special tournaments like Member-Member, Friend Day, Paparazzo (ringer tournament) and our Summer Special are planned. Our league also offers the opportunity to play other great golf clubs like Ridgewood CC , Richter Golf Club and Redding CC in our Interclub program. Please call our Golf Shop at 203-264-8081 and leave your message of interest for Barbara Ajello, our women’s league director. Our membership fee is $80.00 which covers prizes for tournaments, refreshments and ringers all awarded at the closing tournament in October.
Silo Point Men's League - Accepting New Members
The Silo Point Men’s Golf Association (MGA) would like to cordially invite all male Silo Point Country Club members to join their Wednesday morning golf league.
The league will start on April 8th and end on October 21st. Join us next week for an organizational meeting on Tuesday, April 7 at 9:00 AM in the Silo Point Grill Room.
The MGA is using positive policies for enhancing and enforcing pace of play.
The cost to join the league is $120, which covers the opening meeting, the end of year Awards lunch and all prize money.

Wednesday Night League - Accepting New Members
The Wednesday Night Men’s 9-Hole League at Silo Point Country Club is a competitive, season-long team league designed for players who enjoy spirited match play in a fun, social setting. Running from April through mid-September, teams of two compete each week in a structured format with standings, playoffs, and a championship finale. With limited spots available, sign up will be available in the Golf Shop. It’s the perfect way to make the most of your Wednesday evenings on the course.
Tournaments & Events
Nothing marks the start of golf season quite like Masters Week! Join us for our Masters Par 3 Tournament on Wednesday, April 8th, and be part of the excitement. Enjoy classic Augusta-inspired favorites like pimento cheese sandwiches, egg salad pinwheels, Georgia peach ice cream, and more as we celebrate this iconic week in golf.
Sign-ups for the Masters Par 3 Tournament will be posted in the clubhouse beginning Wednesday, April 1st.
Shortly after, we’ll celebrate with our Opening Day Cocktail Party on Friday, April 25. This event is complimentary for all members 21 and over, and guests are welcome to join for $25 per person.
Following the Cocktail Party will be our annual Opening Day Scramble on Saturday, April 26. This event is open to all Male & Female members with weekend access to the club. Let's kick off the season with some friendly competition!
