We are now officially into September which means the days are going to start to get shorter and the nights longer so we hope to see out on the course while you can. There are still some areas that are still ground under repair so please play them accordingly. The Lift, Clean, & Place rule is still in effect until further notice.
3 Day Member Member is this WEEKEND
The 3 Day Member Member is this weekend, starting on Friday, September 13th through Sunday, September 15th.
The golf course will be closed to all non-tournament participants Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Please feel free to take advantage of your reciprocal benefits. Tee times can be booked:
7 days in advance at Blackhawk Country Club (Call Blackhawk at (475) 273-4120 to assist you)
48-hours in advance at Oxford Greens (203) 888-1600 and Tunxis Country Club (860) 677-1367 (Call the Golf Shops they will be happy to assist you)
Course Schedule / Next Two Mondays
Starting on September 1st, the first tee time during the week will be 8am and the first tee time on the weekends and holidays will be 7am.
Monday, September 16th and September 23rd the course and practice facilities will be closed for Private Tournaments. The course will re-open on Tuesdays the 17th & 24th at 7am and the first tee time at 8am.

RESCHEDULED Senior Club Championship
The Senior Club Championship has been rescheduled. The rescheduled date for the Senior Club Championship is now starting on Saturday, September 21st deadline to sign up is Thursday, September the 19th. This event is open to all Full Male and Female Members, 55+. This event will be held over the course of two weekends with Saturday the 21st being an 18 Hole Stroke Play Qualifier. See the flyer below for more information. If you have already signed up and cannot attend the rescheduled date please let the Pro Shop know and we will remove you from the sign up sheet.
Silo Cup Results
The Final Four round is officially complete and we are now moving on to the Championship Match. The Championship Match features the team of Anthony Vela & Rohit Sood versus the team of Jim Frenis & Daniel Butkievich. Which one of these teams will be crowned the 2024 Silo Cup Champions? We will find out by the end of September! The Championship Match must be completed by Monday, September 30th make sure you get your match completed by then. Please, let the Pro Shop know when you are going to play the Championship Match so we can update the bracket.

NEW OFFERINGS in the Grill Room!
We are excited to announce that we have some new offerings in the Grill Room! We have added a BLT Sandwich that you can get on either white or wheat bread to the Turn Deli offerings. We have also added Fat Orange Cat Baby Kittens IPA, Guinness Draught, Modello, Yuengling Lager, & Heineken Zero to our beer selections.
The Grill Room will be open Sunday through Tuesday, 11:00am to 6:00pm and Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00am to 8:00pm. The kitchen will shut down 30 minutes prior to closing. You will be able to charge your purchases back to your Member Account just like up in the Pro Shop when you check out. Please, remember to close out your tab with the bartender prior to leaving the Grill Room after every visit. Failure to do so will result loss of tab running privileges. We can't wait to see you down in the Grill Room for great food and drink!

The Grill Room will be closing at 2pm this Thursday, September 5th for a Private Event. We will reopen on Friday, September 6th at 11am.
Monday, September 9th the practice facilities will open at 11am with our first tee time at 12pm.
Pro Shop Promotion
We are currently running a promotion in the Pro Shop where you will receive a free ball marking kit complements of Titleist when you buy 2 dozen Titleist golf balls. Hurry while supplies last!
Wednesday Night Men's League
The second half of the Wednesday night Men's League is in full swing. It is a two-man team format playing against a different team every week. NEW START TIME ALERT - We will now tee off at 4:30pm starting this Wednesday!!!! Please, arrive 20 minutes before tee-off for your weekly pairings. It is a points based league season that will be split into two halves. This half will run from August to October, please see the updated standings from Week 3 below.
This week the league will be playing on the Back 9 of the course.
As a reminder any subs must be a member of Silo Point CC and have an active GHIN number with the club.
