Hello everyone! We are happy to be sharing this update in the presence of sunshine, preceded by the first warm days of the year. It doesn't look like we're completely in the clear yet, and the groundhog did see his shadow... but we are itching to get back out there!
We have a few quick updates to cover today as we prepare for the season ahead. A more comprehensive 2025 update will be shared in a few weeks.
Spring Reopening
We anticipate reopening the course on April 2, 2025. Aeration of the Greens only is scheduled for March 24-25. On March 31-April 1, we will address the bulkhead work on Hole 18.
There is potential for a soft opening March 28-30, we will be sure to update you on this as soon as possible!
The golf course and driving range remain closed for the season. During this time we require that there is no play or pedestrian traffic on the course so the turf can remain healthy as spring approaches.
Member Services - Lockers, Club & Push/Pull Cart Storage
Use of lockers, club, push and pull cart storage is continuous*, please do not resubmit if you already had storage privileges in 2024. All storage will be billed on April 1st.
Please submit the form below to be added to the waitlist for storage. Storage will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. If you have previously requested storage, you are already waitlisted and do not need to resubmit.
*Cancellation: If you currently have a locker but do not need a locker for 2025 please notify us by sending an email to membership@silopointcc.com immediately.
Reciprocal Course Reminders
Our public courses will reopen as soon as possible! You must be paid current on your 2025 membership dues to enjoy reciprocal privileges. Please remember to CALL The Golf Club at Oxford Greens/Tunxis Country Club and speak directly with the Golf Shop to reserve your tee time under a reciprocal rate.
